How to Prepare for Your Audition:
Vocalists:
Prepare 2 songs. These songs should showcase your vocal range as well as demonstrate your versatility stylistically.
Please be prepared to perform these numbers as we will be evaluating stage presence and showmanship qualities.
We have provided a list of song recommendations in our Video/Music Resources folder (linked above). This folder includes the backtracks and song lyrics. However if you would like to provide your own music, your audio tracks can be emailed as mp3 or via a YouTube link. Please do this prior to the audition date so we can be ready and keep things moving. Please put in subject line of the email both your “name” and the word “audition”. You can also bring an audio device/cell phone but make sure it is equipped with an 1/8 inch head phone jack/dongle for audio hookup and in “do not disturb” mode.
Please come with a list of rehearsal conflicts for the months of February and March.

Dancers:

Prepare 1-2 dances (minimum of 45 seconds each). These dances should showcase your ability and be 2 different styles.
Female dancers: We have provided 2 choreographed dances which can be found in the Video/Music Resources folder (linked above). You can choose the musical theatre or ballet/contemporary, or both! At your audition, we will be evaluating stage presence and showmanship qualities.
Male dancers: You may use the pre choreographed musical theatre piece as a guide and make it your own, or you can choreograph your own dance number, as the audition pieces are geared more towards the ladies. Please send your music to Tim, via email with your "name" and the word "audition" in subject line. You can also bring an audio device/cell phone but make sure it is equipped with an 1/8 inch head phone jack/dongle for audio hookup and in “do not disturb” mode.
Ladies, while it is encouraged to use the pre choreographed material, if you would like to provide your own dance, music tracks can be emailed as mp3 or via a YouTube link.
Please come with a list of your rehearsal conflicts for February and March.

Circus/Aerial Arts:
We are looking for a 30 second (minimum) demonstration of your particular skill set. If auditioning for aerialist arts please let us know in advance so we can ensure proper rigging for your audition piece.
In this category not only the skill itself but also the showmanship quality is evaluated. Music tracks are not required but if you have something choreographed to music we would love to see
